The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc. is a non-profit association that represents lawyers, bar organizations and others who work with older clients and their families. Established in 1987, the Academy provides a resource of education, information, networking and assistance to those who deal with the many specialized issues involved with legal services for seniors and people with special needs. The mission of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys is to establish NAELA members as the premier providers of legal advocacy, guidance and services to enhance the lives of people as they age as well as individuals with special needs. Lawyer Referral Services | Rhode Island Bar Association

-Provides legal assistance to active and reserve military personnel, family members of Reserve Component members undergoing pre-mobilization legal preparation, military retirees or those receiving disability and their family members, and surviving family members of all the groups noted above -Provides referrals to attorneys who will to discuss legal problems. Reduced fee referrals are available to income eligible clients. All clients qualify for free half hour consultation. Fees for additional legal services subject to arrangement between client and attorney.
