RIVMA has developed a special program to help low-income pet owners afford the cost of spaying or neutering their pets. Through this program, eligible pet owners can receive a discounted rate on spay or neuter surgery at participating veterinary hospitals and clinics throughout Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts.

PawsWatch advocates and practices the internationally recognized Trap-Neuter-Release-Monitor protocol as the only humane solution to the state's feral cat challenge. PawsWatch does not operate a physical shelter, but instead has different chapters operating throughout Rhode Island.
