Services are delivered by an integrated multi-disciplinary team of Community Care Services professionals, including social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, experienced management staff, and a network of specially trained foster parents. Foster parent to client ratio in intensive foster care is 1:1 at all times. At least one foster parent is always home to provide adequate supervision. CFP joined a network of agencies, called The Care Management Network, working together to provide a full scope of services to RI youth and families.

Treatment Foster Care: Licensed foster families provide a structured and therapeutic family environment for children and youth who can safely be placed in the community but who cannot live with their biological families. The program utilizes a team based approach to help foster parents meet the emotional & behavioral needs of the children placed in their homes.

Operates scattered, multi-site staffed apartment programs for troubled adolescents in DCYF care; supervised independent living programs, outreach family intervention program and 45 day Evaluation Center. Offers Outpatient individual, group and family counseling; preparation for independent living, case management and community support services. Adoption/ foster care training and licensing, specializing in adolescents.

There is a growing need for families willing to open their hearts and homes to children and teenagers who have been removed from their families because of neglect or abuse. These children need a loving family who will walk with them during a time of crisis and welcome them unconditionally into a caring home.
