Washington County Community Development Corporation provides decent affordable housing for residents of Washington County. Programs: Home Repair Program - WC CDC manages the popular Home Repair program for all towns in Washington County, as well as West Greenwich and Exeter. This program provides grants and loans to income eligible home owners. These grants and loans are intended to ensure folks remain in their homes by performing reasonable and necessary repairs. We focus on code violations, health and safety issues, and any other repairs needed to maintain a healthy safe and sanitary dwelling. Housing Preservation Grants - WC CDC provides grants awarded through USDA Rural Development. These grants supplement the CDBG Home Repair Program in rural towns in Washington County.
