Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plan Enrollment | Aging and Disability Resource Center of Rhode Island

Medicare Part D is the part of Medicare that provides outpatient drug coverage. Part D is provided only through private insurance companies that have contracts with the federal government. These plans follow Medicare rules. Part D covers medically necessary prescription drugs including insulin and related supplies. This plan is intended for prescription coverage only, it does not offer coverage for any other services. In addition, out of pocket cost varies based on coverage and prescriptions that the member has. This plan has a benchmark deductible and monthly premium that are set every year. They provide you with unbiased information in order for you to make an informative decision.

Child Care Centers | Diocese of Providence

The Cabrini Fund provides scholarships to help working families with the cost of licensed child care. Established in 2006, this program is named in honor of Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini, 1850-1917. Cabrini Scholarships pay part of the cost (up to $100/month) of licensed child care for working families with children twelve years of age or younger. Payments are made directly to the child care provider. Providers must be licensed/certified by the State of Rhode Island and may be Child Care Centers, Home Based Providers or Before/After School programs.

Fraud Prevention | East Bay Community Action Program

The East Bay Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) Program helps Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries prevent, detect, and report health care fraud. SMP not only protects seniors, it also helps to preserve the integrity of the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Senior Medicare Patrol staff and volunteers work with beneficiaries to: -Review their Medicare Summary Notices for accuracy -Protect their identity -Identify and report errors on their health care bills -Identify deceptive health care practices, such as illegal marketing, providing unnecessary or inappropriate services, and charging for services that were not provided -SMP also conducts informational sessions for seniors about avoiding Medicare and Medicaid scams.
