Project Learn Adult & Family Literacy Program provides access to services and supports for adult learners to help them achieve their educational and workplace goals. Services for individuals age 16 and up include: ESL Classes, Basic Skills, Pre-GED and GED Classes and NEDP Classes.

A private, nonsectarian, not-for-profit behavioral healthcare organization that supports individuals in their recovery from mental illness and co-occurring disorders (i.e., substance use, developmental disability, related chronic health conditions). Provides access to support and resources for individuals to lead self-determined, independent, and fulfilling lives as contributing members of the community. Assists people of all ages to improve their behavioral health, well-being, and quality of life. Licensed professionals conduct individual assessments and develop person-centered treatment plans. Individuals are seen by a psychiatrist or a psychiatric nurse practitioner for medication management, and individual and group therapy are available. Providence Center-(Prairie) Provides: behavioral health services ranging from emergency services, general and intensive community-based outpatient treatment, substance use treatment, and other services. They may offer vocational and supported employment services, navigators who can help you get health insurance, tax preparation assistance, and housing supports. If receiving services as a child, assistance with transition to adult services or programs are provided within or outside the agency. The Community Mental Health Centers are regionally based as indicated below. However, as a Rhode Island resident, you may access services at any CMHC. Anyone experiencing a crisis can walk into a Community Mental Health Center during their normal business hours and they will provide treatment. ACOS is Rhode Island's largest provider of high-quality services for adults, children and families infected with or affected by HIV or AIDS. Provides a broad range of services including housing resources, counseling, rapid HIV testing, (anonymous/confidential) Hepatitis testing and vaccinations, case management, advocacy and community outreach programs focusing on prevention and wellness. Thrive’s Community Support Program (CSP) is a coordinated system of care designed for adults aged 18 and older who are struggling with a severe and persistent mental illness and require a higher level of care. CSP participants have received a qualifying diagnosis of a psychotic disorder, mood disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder and have had difficulties engaging with treatment.This program enables individuals to maintain psychiatric stability, increase their quality life in the community, and ultimately achieve their own personal recovery. Qualifying clients will have access to psychiatric services, counseling, case management services, education, peer support, residential services, and transportation to and from medical appointments. Thrive's Community Support Program is comprised of three integrated support teams including the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team and Integrated Health Home (IHH) Teams. An Outpatient level of care is available to those who have similar needs but require less intensive care.

A 25 bed, co-ed Assisted Living Residence for adults and seniors with behavioral healthcare needs who require assistance with everyday activities. Staff assists residents with coordination of services and encourage participation in various activities in the local area. Evergreen is staffed with dually-licensed Nursing Assistants and Medication Aides. A Registered Nurse meets monthly with residents to evaluate healthcare needed and coordinate service planning. Easily accessible to public transportation.

Anchor Bay at East Providence offers Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Respite Care. Assisted Living amenities include a daily check-in system and emergency response in each apartment. Provides 3 well balanced meals per day, activities, and maintenance, as well as medication management, assistance with bathing and dressing and incontinence management, etc.
