Adult Basic Education is offered in English and is designed for students who need to improve their basic academic skills in order to enter into the National External Diploma Program, prepare for the GED, or enroll in an occupational skills training program. This can be a helpful transitional class for those adults who have been out of school for a long time or for advanced ESOL learners. The focus of the class is to improve: Math, reading, writing, social studies, science, digital literacy, and critical thinking.

The Adult Basic Education program includes academic assessments, classes for GED exam preparation, Adult Basic Education, post secondary educational assistance, and alternative diploma programs.

West Bay Collaborative assists students in the areas of Work-Preparation, Self-Discovery, Career Exploration, Job Development, Job Placement, Job Coaching, and Vocational Assessment and Evaluation. West Bay Collaborative Transition & Vocational Services is a group of unique educational and vocational programs serving youth ages 16+ in the Rhode Island community. Pawtuxet Valley Urgent Care is a medical practice providing prompt treatment of all non-life-threatening acute injuries and illnesses for patients of all ages on a walk-in basis. For youth who have been adjudicated as delinquent and those awaiting trial for serious offenses, residential programming is conducted at the RI Training School which provides a secure, structured program or comprehensive services including clinical and educational services. All youth detained receive educational services in accordance with their academic level and/or specific individual education plan.

The group researches and publishes comprehensive town-by-town statistics on the well-being of County children, convenes monthly workshops for doctors and mental health professionals who care for children with behavioral health problems and developmental disabilities, promotes emotional literacy among 2nd graders through an annual bookmark design contest, organizes a holiday gift drive for teens with Casey's Grill & Bar in Wakefield and offers a free Behavioral Health directory and other resources on a regularly-updated website.

A private, nonsectarian, not-for-profit behavioral healthcare organization that supports individuals in their recovery from mental illness and co-occurring disorders (i.e., substance use, developmental disability, related chronic health conditions). Provides access to support and resources for individuals to lead self-determined, independent, and fulfilling lives as contributing members of the community. Assists people of all ages to improve their behavioral health, well-being, and quality of life. Licensed professionals conduct individual assessments and develop person-centered treatment plans. Shelter Policies: All calls for service must be filed through the Warren Police Department. Non-emergency calls and inquiries may be made to the Warren Animal Shelter during normal business hours. The Veterans Transitional Supportive Program (VTSP) is a collaborative effort by the Rhode Island Veterans Home and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to assist homeless veterans in their return to community living. The objectives of treatment are to have each veteran achieve an optimal level of functioning mentally, physically, vocationally and socially so when community housing is located they will not experience homelessness again. Residents typically can remain in the program from six months to a year where they are assisted with substance abuse treatment, work therapy, case management services, individual counseling, medical and psychiatric treatment and discharge planning. Each veteran is expected to develop an individualized treatment plan and work with his/her case manager to resolve those issues which contributed to his homelessness.
