Assisted Daily Living, Inc. provides clients with a wide array of services designed to ensure superior patient care in the familiar comfort of home, often providing a happier and more affordable alternative to nursing, or assisted living facilities. Services can be arranged for a few hours a week or around the clock. ADL begins by reviewing the specific needs of the client through discussions with family members, as well as the care recipient's doctor, social workers or therapists. ADL will match the clients needs to the best possible caregiver, based on both professional experience and on ability characteristics. Our treatment program is based on the 12-step principles of recovery. We utilize evidence based therapy as well as other proven clinical methods. Residents are required to attend community based self-help groups, participate in individual and group counseling, join in weekly activity therapy and perform household chores.

SHIP Counseling:The Rhode Island Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP) is part of a national partnership to help consumers make informed healthcare choices. Tri-County SHIP counselors provide one-to-one, unbiased counseling to seniors, adults with disabilities, families, and caregivers. The program is designed to help seniors and adults with disabilities understand healthcare cost and coverage options. Tri-County SHIP counselors discuss Medicare Part A and B, Medicare Part D, supplemental insurance, Medicare Advantage plans and other health insurance options with their clients. Our counselors also assist beneficiaries in making the most appropriate choice for their healthcare needs.

Tri-County’s Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, or LIHEAP, offers assistance with managing costs associated with home energy bills. Tri-County is able to help with paying fuel and utility bills during the winter months for eligible clients, and we can arrange for the installation of home insulation to reduce home-heating costs (gas, electric, propane, oil, kerosene or wood) through our weatherization program.
