Substance abuse counselors provide treatment of adults and adolescents with substance abuse issues; treatment for family members affected by their loved one's addiction is also available. This is a support group for people dealing with alcoholism. Meetings are held throughout the state to help those in recovery. Recovery follows a 12 step format and sponsors within the program provide support. It's a community of people who share their experience, strength an hope each other to recover from alcoholics.

Early Seekers on Saturday mornings provides food and clothing to those who are experiencing homelessness at Kennedy Plaza and Crossroads Shelter, both located in Providence. They provide 300+ bagged lunches and give out donated clothing, toiletries, and other items on a weekly basis.

The Rhode Island Workers' Compensation Court is charged with the jurisdiction to hear all disputes between an employer and an employee relating to workers' compensation. The Workers' Compensation Court is comprised of a Chief Judge and nine Associate Judges. Robert M. Ferrieri was appointed the Chief Judge of the Workers' Compensation Court in June 2016. Located on the first floor of the Cranston Senior Enrichment Center, the Arlington Branch, formerly named both the Arlington Library and the Arlington Reading Room, was initially founded in the neighborhood district hall with a collection of 500 volumes. Currently, the branch is a popular stop for both pedestrians in the Arlington neighborhood and those visiting the Senior Enrichment Center. The branch was dedicated to the memory of former library trustee Edward Costa in 2018 and renamed the Edward Costa Memorial Arlington Branch.

Casey Farm, with scenic views of Narragansett Bay, was established in the Colonial era (circa 1750). At that time it cultivated produce for both foreign and domestic markets. The farm is now part of a unique agriculture program that produces organically grown flowers, herbs and vegetables that are available at the Farmers Market. Visitors are welcome to tour the farmyard and the old Casey cemetery. Educational programs are available for children. Casey Farm also Provides Summer Camp for children as well.
