College Leadership Rhode Island (CLRI) is a career readiness program that inspires, educates, and engages a diverse group of student leaders. Founded in 2004, CLRI is a tuition-free, semester-long program (4 full-day sessions) that explores careers in the nonprofit, public and private sectors through experiential learning and direct access to community and industry leaders. Family financial support may cover household expenses such as rent, mortgage, utility payments, medical bills, parking passes and other essentials. The Tomorrow Fund provides daily monetary stipends (allowances) for all children who are admitted to Hasbro Children's Hospital overnight as well as travel stipends (allowances) for patients traveling out of state for bone marrow transplant or medical treatment not available in Rhode Island. Families of children with cancer often incur enormous financial burdens. The loss of income, the costs of meals, babysitting and transportation to the hospital often break family budgets while their child is facing a life threatening illness. The Tomorrowfund anticipates the needs of our families, providing the resources and programs that bring a degree of normalcy to life in the midst of a battle for life itself.

The Foster EMA is charged with mitigating against, preparing the community of Foster for, and responding to and recovering from, natural or man-made disasters. The members of the EMA work to maintain resources that can be deployed quickly in the event of an emergency.

Senior Citizens If you are in need of assistance, a Community Elder Information Specialist provided by the Rhode Island Division of Aging is available for an appointment at the Center, or by a home visit (if required). All Health Care services are available to you if you are 65 years or older, and are covered by insurance or are a private pay patient. Health Consultant Services and Nutritional Evaluations are FREE and open to ALL AGES. Our Basic Needs Assistance program is designed to provide critical support and services to address the essential needs of our community members. Basic Needs Assistance involves providing immediate and essential support to individuals and families struggling to meet their basic needs. Includes: Food Assistance: Access to nutritious food through food pantries, meal programs, and emergency food supplies. Healthcare access- Support accessing medical care, health services, and health insurance assistance Financial Aid: Temporary financial support for utility bills, rent, and other essential expenses. Educational Resources: Access to educational materials, tutoring, and other learning support services. Social Services: Connection to community resources, counseling, services, and other forms of social support.

The Food 4 Life program provides meals 7 days a week to people at various locations and shelters in the greater Providence area, Kent County and Northern Rhode Island. Our committed volunteers serve an average of 1,000 + meals per week.

Programs within the formal criminal justice system that provide facilities for the detention of people who have been charged with a crime and are awaiting trial, and/or the confinement, treatment, employment, training and discipline of people who have been sentenced to imprisonment after conviction for a criminal offense.

Renaissance Project is a tax-credit project that renovated apartments on on Goddard Street. With this project, 30 units were completely rehabbed and transformed into affordable apartments.

An affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International serving the Birstol County area of Rhode Island whose aim is to eliminate substandard housing by building and rehabilitating homes that are affordable to low-income individuals and families from the local community. Volunteer Opportunities with Habitat for Humanity include: On-Site Construction, Office Assistance, Lunch Providers, Committees: Building, Fund Development, Marketing, Events & Homeowner Support.

Licensed JCAHO accredited, comprehensive inpatient co-occuring treatment program offering education, outreach, crisis intervention, assessment, individual, family and group counseling. Residential co-occuring treatment program. Psychiatric evaluation of uninsured is available.

Services: Provides immediate emergency relief assistance to families suffering losses caused by disasters. Other services include counseling, financial assistance and world wide communication programs for military families and veterans. In addition to emergency response, the American Red Cross also provides educational programs designed to help people prepare for and prevent emergencies with Health and Safety programs in first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillation (A.E.D.); water safety swimming training; health training for special health projects such as AIDS education. Volunteer community services include the training and placement of volunteers in all service area mentioned above.

Limited Rhode Island Traffic Tribunal hours are held in adjacent Stedman Government Center. The Traffic Tribunal is part of the Rhode Island unified court system and is comprised of eight (8) judicial officers, which include a Chief Magistrate, an Administrative Magistrate, two (2) Associate Judges, and four (4) Magistrates. The Traffic Tribunal has original jurisdiction over civil traffic offenses committed in Rhode Island, including breathalyzer refusals. Further, the Traffic Tribunal has authority over certain Department of Environmental Management offenses. The Traffic Tribunal has oversight responsibilities and concurrent jurisdiction with the Municipal Courts for lesser traffic offenses. The Traffic Tribunal operates several daily calendars including arraignments, trials, motions, and citation (collections) cases. The court also has an Appeals Division which processes Traffic Tribunal, Municipal Court, and Division of Motor Vehicle appeals.

Child Outreach is a free service offered to all children 3 to 5 years old. Child Outreach provides information about your child’s development and resources that are available within your community. It can also help identify children who may need further assessment, intervention and/ or services at an early age to promote positive outcomes in kindergarten and beyond.

Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS) serves people who have disabilities or chronic care needs in the setting ideal for them and their families. Services may be episodic or on-going. Services may be provided in a person's home, the community (for example, shared living or assisted living), or institutional settings (for example, intermediate care facilities, hospitals, or nursing homes) to optimize their health and retain their independence. People of all ages may need long term care.
