Project RESPECT (formerly Anytown) has been engaging young people through a process of self-discovery and intentional community building. Designed as a residential leadership institute for young people, Project RESPECT is a life-changing experience for students ready to explore their identities and challenge their privilege. Over the course of the week, delegates dive into issues of privilege and oppression; forge life-long friendships; build confidence; and learn what it takes to create a world that is open and accepting of all cultures, ethnic groups, faiths/religions, and genders.

Provide adult services that includes adult day health, day habilitation, community-based day supports, adult residential services, shared living, RIte @ Home, brain injury supports, Alzheimer's and Related Dementias. Also provide services for children that includes Early Intervention, specialized community-based HBTS (Home-Based Therapeutic Services) and PASS (Personal Assistance Services and Supports), and Transition Age programs for young adults, ages 19-22, who are preparing for adulthood.

The Rhode Island Jump$tart Coalition is a coalition of Rhode Island organizations, businesses, educators, individuals and other stakeholders dedicated to improving the financial capability of the region’s residents, including under-served populations. We seek to improve personal financial knowledge and skills so that individuals may be empowered to employ responsible personal financial practices that can lead to lifelong financial security and fulfillment. Rhode Island Jump$tart Coalition carries out its mission by: Convening forums where partners and other stakeholders can network, exchange ideas, promote efforts and form alliances; Sharing and promoting best practices in financial capability programs; Creating, planning, executing and securing funds for valuable initiatives; Promoting trusted programs, educational resources, and when possible, providing funds to target population program providers; and Increasing awareness among policy-makers, civic leaders, and other people of influence about the need for and benefits of increased personal financial capability in Rhode Island and beyond.

Sparrows Point I Apartments—a project based Section 8 Development designed for the Elderly (62 years of age and older) and/or person with disabilities under 62 years of age. The community consists of (151 apts.) 135 one bedroom and 16 two bedroom apartments and is smoke free.

Services: A full-service healthcare network, including a 214-bed, acute-care hospital, 19-bed Transitional Care Unit, and an 18-bed inpatient psychiatric program at the Woonsocket Unit. Hospital services include emergency, diagnostic, medical, surgical, psychiatric, cancer, cardiac and obstetric. The Fogarty Unit in North Smithfield is the location of the Occupational Health Department and MRI unit. Offers training opportunities on a wide variety of topics for individuals who are either working towards or renewing a mental health, substance abuse, social work, or nursing certification or license. A nonprofit membership organization representing the majority of public and private alcohol and drug abuse treatment and prevention programs throughout Rhode Island. Committed to advocacy for quality alcohol and drug abuse treatment. We provide training for the certification of dependency professionals in the areas of treatment, prevention and student assistance as well as substance abuse training for other professionals. In addition, DATA operates the R.I. Division of Substance Abuse's "In-Rhodes" library which provides substance abuse information, research and educational materials to providers, consumers, educators, students, community-based organizations and the general public to borrow, and/or utilize for informational or educational purposes.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors Rhode Island is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families stay in their homes through a variety of ways, primarily by providing necessary home repairs and modifications. NHN RI offers services including building wheelchair ramps, painting houses indoor or out, repairing porches or steps, patching roofs, and fixing windows. All of these can make real differences to neighbors in need. Necessary home repairs are often left undone when people are faced with the need to stretch their paycheck, disability check, or Social Security income. In some cases, completing this work is the only way people are able to stay in their homes and remain independent.

The mission of the College Crusade is to prepare and inspire young people in Rhode Island to become the first in their families to attend and complete college. Our organization supports approximately 4,000 students in middle school, high school, and college each year. We enroll sixth graders who attend public and public charter schools in Providence, Cranston, Pawtucket, Central Falls, Woonsocket, and West Warwick. From the time they join through their early years of college, Crusaders experience the steady, nurturing presence of caring adults and participate year-round in programs that focus on academic enrichment, social and personal development, career awareness and exploration, and preparation for college.
