Rhode Island Zoological Society (RIZS) is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization that supports and maintains Roger Williams Park Zoo. RIZS works to secure the public and private sector support needed by the Zoo to continue to develop new world-class exhibits, make significant contributions to conservation, and serve the community as a valuable source of environmental education, recreation, and economic development. Founded in 1962 in order to increase public awareness and support for the Roger Williams Park Zoo. It has effectively communicated the zoo's mission statement of recreation, education, conservation and research. The Clinic also provides the most efficient and cost effective alternative to emergency rooms for uninsured residents seeking comprehensive health care.

Scalabrini Villa collaborates with many different Hospice agencies to provide a variety of choices. Provides specialized palliative care and end of life services affording comfort and support to residents who are no longer seeking active treatment and have a life expectancy of months or weeks. The focus of the Hospice team and the Villa staff is the physical and emotional support to both the resident and their family members. Members of your hospice team at Scalabrini Villa may include physicians, a hospice doctor or medical director, skilled nurses, home health aides, social workers, mental health providers, trained volunteers, clergy and with special authorization could include: physical, occupational and speech therapists.

The Ocean Tides School Providence Campus is an alternative day school for students in grades seven through twelve. Offering a full high school Rhode Island Regents diploma, the school is licensed by the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) and accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). Additionally, the Providence Campus offers a certified special education program and a career/technical education program. The student body at the Providence Campus is comprised of students referred by their school district for educational purposes (both regular and special education) and career/technical training. The mission of the Central Falls Housing Authority is to provide safe, decent and affordable housing and to establish programs that educate, enhance and empower the lives of all the people in the community they serve. CFHA maintains 327 public housing units, serving 500+ residents. In addition, they administer 553 Housing Choice Vouchers housing 1400 residents. The town of Jamestown proudly supports its senior center and provides a broad base of social, health and wellness and learning programs to its residents 55+. The town of Jamestown encourages engagement into its programs and provides affordable access to support aging in our community. Transportation is provided for specific programs. Please check back regularly as we will be updating offerings often. The Jamestown Senior Center is located at 6 West Street. We offer weekday full service luncheons for a suggested donation of $3.00. Hot meals are available for in-house dining with a separate cold sandwich option for Grab & Go to be picked up at the Senior Center between 11:30am and 12:30pm. Hot meals are for those dining in. Dining in is from 11:15am-12:15pm. Menu is available in the "Lunch Menu" folder to the left. Reservations should be made 48 hours in advance.
