RIEOC has been an integral part of the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) assisting individuals with applying for financial aid (FAFSA) and completing college admissions applications. The EOC office also provides an array of other services: career counseling, GED and English as a Second Language classes referrals, assistance with foreign education evaluations, financial literacy and general educational information dissemination. The RIEOC office has as a goal providing support and motivation to students to assist them in meeting their academic potential.

Cortland Rehabilitation Unit offers skilled nursing and rehabilitation on a short or long term basis. The unit specialized in physical, occupational, and speech therapy, respite care, and respiratory therapy. This facility offers an ideal option for assisted living residents whenever additional care is required.

A wide range of human and educational services across Rhode Island including outpatient/office-based program provides mental health counseling as well as medical services from psychiatrists. Substance abuse counselors provide treatment of adults and adolescents with substance abuse issues; treatment for family members affected by their loved one's addiction is also available. Founded in 1999, the Rhode Island Free Clinic’s mission is to provide free, comprehensive medical care and preventive health services to adults who have no health insurance and cannot afford those services; and to serve as an educational training site for aspiring health care professionals. The Clinic mobilizes vital health resources for Rhode Island’s uninsured, working poor and low-income adults. The East Greenwich Police Department has 32 police officers, an animal control officer, parking control officer, 5 dispatchers, an administrative assistant and a secretary. The officers have received CPR, Automatic Emergency Defibrillator and first aid training. The Department has a complete Bureau Criminal Identification unit, a Traffic Accident Reconstructionist and a Tactical Special Response Team. Many officers are graduates of the University of Rhode Island Criminalist School, with training in scientific investigation, photography and fingerprinting.
