Living In Fulfilling Environments (L.I.F.E.), Inc. works to provide a person-centered supportive environment for individuals with disabilities through: Informed Choice Making Self-Advocacy Life Skill Development Relationship Building Community Participation Creating Personal Goals Developing Independence Developing a Positive Self-Image Group Living- support method consists of three or more participants sharing a home with around-the-clock, on sight staff who provide transportation, medical care management, and other day to day assistance to ensure a person's goals and needs are met. Supported Living (Non 24 hour) Participants in this setting typically share an apartment with a roommate or two, and the support is easily customizable to mirror the true amount of assistance a person needs to stay safe, yet maximize independence. Shared Living Arrangements- pairs and individual with developmental disabilities with a live-in community member, also known as a Home Provider. This pair works together to meet the participant's goals, share the household and responsibilities and finances, and ultimately create a family-like environment. Personalized Vocational Planning and Services- for accommodation support, career planning, exploration, discovery, job coaching, mentoring, and retention, pre-vocational skill building, resume building and interview preparation, vocational assessments and evaluations. Self Employment and Entrepreneurship assistance- staff provides guidance to promote and enhance business endeavors.

Domestic Violence is one of the leading causes of homelessness for women. As an affiliate member of the Rhode Island Coalition Against Domestic Violence, we provide integrated services to address the unique needs of domestic violence survivors, as we work with them to break the cycle of violence and find secure, stable housing. Through the Domestic Violence Program we offer comprehensive trauma-informed services for domestic violence survivors, including a 24-hour crisis hotline, emergency shelter, rapid re-housing, advocacy, support groups, and children's enrichment programs. The Domestic Violence Program is primarily an emergency shelter program with a focus on safety and housing. The shelter provides safety for 26 domestic violence survivors and their children in a confidential location separate from other Crossroads properties. Clients have access to Crossroads Rhode Island’s range of services, including basic needs assistance, education, employment services and intensive case management, while they work to find a secure and stable home.

Our Independent Living/Deaf Services Coordinator works one-on-one with consumers providing assistance in a variety of ways including: They teach consumers to advocate for themselves with tasks such as getting a sign language interpreter for appointments at doctor’s offices, hospitals, Social Security Offices, DHS offices, landlord’s offices etc; accessing community services, requesting reasonable accommodations and addressing general communication issues; provides services to obtain housing. Also provides assistance with bill/letter translation.

Pre-security area: 24/7. Travelers are not allowed to wait or sleep inside security area after security checkpoints have closed for the night. Those passengers already air side are required to go landslide until security reopens, and then need to clear security again to re-enter.

Also, the Sexual Assault Response Team (SART), the RI Children's Advocacy Center, prevention education and a new Family Foster Care Treatment Program for sexually abused children in foster care and their foster families.

The East Bay Food Pantry's mission is to “engage, educate, and empower the East Bay in creating a hunger-free community”. Food is available to anyone in need in the East Bay. Their “client choice” food programs are all grounded in our Access Nutrition Initiative, providing healthy food choices and nutrition education to address inequalities of access to healthy foods. They strive to provide a consistent inventory of whole grain foods, fruits and vegetables, and high-quality protein and dairy items. The food pantry allows clients to access to a standard pantry once a month and gives access to a once per week "Fresh Food Friday", where fresh food like produce and bread are available.

The National Museum of American Illustration (NMAI) was founded in 1998 by Judy Goffman Cutler and Laurence S. Cutler to house their collection of primarily "Golden Age" American Illustration art, yet the museum also exhibits American illustration from all periods, styles and talents. The Museum venue is Vernon Court (1898), an interpretation of an 18th century French château from the "Gilded Age of Architecture," designed by Carrère & Hastings, architects for many notable landmark buildings such as the NY Public Library, the US Senate and House Office Buildings, Lord Duveen's New York Galleries, the Neue Gallery, The Flagler Museum, and The Frick Collection. The NMAI's goal is to present a venue for the public to appreciate the collection of American illustration art in perpetuity.

Sponsored by the Rhode Island Office of Healthy Aging and federally funded by the Corporation for National & Community Service, senior companions are over the age of 55 and provide companionship and reassurance with seniors and adults with special needs. Companions visit, listen, comfort, help and encourage clients to maintain as much independence as possible. Presently, the diocese has senior companions serving a number of seniors in the community.

In-home non medical care providing interactive companionship and personal care services as well as home safety solutions such as personal emergency response systems. Service can be customized to fit client needs including 24 hour care, respite care, or relief for family and dementia care. Personal Care Services: Bathing, grooming, hygiene, mobility assistance transferring and positioning, toileting and incontinence, feeding and special diet. Companionship Services: Meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, errands, incidental transportation, medication reminders.
