Lasagna Love is providing a one time meal delivery to individuals and families who are struggling due to the pandemic and who are under stress.

The Center is a private, non-profit community focal point for residents of Newport County and surrounding communities where older persons can come together for services and/or activities which enhance their dignity, reflect their experience and skills, support their independence, encourage their involvement in and with the Center and the community, and respond to their diverse needs and interests. Aging Well, Inc. has provided services to seniors and adults with disabilities residing in Northern Rhode Island since 1975. In accordance with the Congregate Meal Program financed through a grant with R.I. Office of Healthy Aging, Senior Services, Inc. provides nutritionally balanced lunches five days a week at meal sites throughout northern R.I.

The Center also operates a meal site for senior citizens, and provides meals on wheels to a large number of individuals within the community.

At the Supper Table on Monday nights the Calabrese Club chef prepares a wonderful, free meal which will be served to guests family style in a comfortable, dining environment. All ages, all are welcome.

Nutritional meal is served every weekday

The Senior Dining Program provides weekday hot lunches at cafes across the state. The lunches are available to seniors (60+) and disabled adults. The program has no income limits.

Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS) serves people who have disabilities or chronic care needs in the setting ideal for them and their families. Services may be episodic or on-going. Services may be provided in a person's home, the community (for example, shared living or assisted living), or institutional settings (for example, intermediate care facilities, hospitals, or nursing homes) to optimize their health and retain their independence. People of all ages may need long term care. If you, a loved one, or a friend is an adult with a disability or an elder, you will find information about the DHS's publicly funded long term services and supports here.

Kosher cafe open to everyone state wide. Serving coffee, tea, and 3 courses. Example: soup, chicken or fish, and a cookie and orange slices. 2 hour duration, some weeks there are events like story telling or painting etc.

The Senior Center has a meal-site that serves lunch Monday thru Friday at 11:30. The suggested donation for the meal is $3.00. Menus are available.

Kids Cafe is a program of Feeding America, the national network of food banks, and it is the nation's largest meal program exclusively for needy children. The Food Bank’s Kids Cafe serves healthy meals to children at risk of hunger at after school programs in local community centers. Students come directly from school and receive a delicious dinner to give them energy to focus, concentrate, and play during the rest of their day until it’s time for the to go home in the evening. They also learn about nutrition and making healthy choices when they eat. For many of the children, Kids Cafe provides their only meal for the evening.

Program is the largest congregate dining setting for seniors or for those with disabilities in Rhode Island. The Blackstone Café provides balanced and nutritional meals to disabled adults and seniors in a community dining setting. There are 17 Blackstone Health Café dining locations across the state of Rhode Island where meals can be enjoyed or picked up. FOOD/HOT MEALS In their fight against hunger and food insecurity, they provide thousands of meals annually through a great team of volunteers in four primary communities: Woonsocket, Pawtucket, Providence, and West Warwick. They serve healthy fresh meals to those in need. They go beyond handing out care packages by serving hot meals to the homeless. At their weekly food services, their volunteers provide a valuable human interaction and guidance to available programs to those in need. In addition, we may deliver food to those who cannot reach their food distribution locations. Lunch is served in the Parkside Dining Room at the Senior/Community Center. Those unable to pay will not be turned away. Meals are also available for home-bound neighbors weekdays with Meals on Wheels

Restaurant Program for seniors started in 2007. Seniors are able to obtain a voucher to take to a participating restaurant in exchange for meal options provided by the restaurant.

The Kosher Meals on Wheels program from Jewish Collaborative Services delivers nutritious kosher meals to homebound seniors and disabled individuals. Part of our kosher nutrition program, Kosher Meals on Wheels provides an essential safety net for hundreds of community members who might otherwise face malnutrition.
