The mission of the Rhode Island Contractors' Registration and Licensing Board is to safeguard the consumers rights related to contracted improvements to residential property, while providing a fair and positive environment for the construction industry. The CRLB is an agency within the Department of Business Regulation’s, Division of Building, Design, and Fire Professionals. It is responsible for administrating and enforcing the registration and licensing requirements of certain contractors, and protecting the public by investigating complaints by homeowners and issuing fines and penalties for violations of the general laws, rules, and regulations.

A wide range of human and educational services across Rhode Island including outpatient/office-based program provides mental health counseling as well as medical services from psychiatrists. Substance abuse counselors provide treatment of adults and adolescents with substance abuse issues; treatment for family members affected by their loved one's addiction is also available. Blackstone Valley Assisted Living Specializes in intermediate care which is for those who don't need full-time care, but need a helping hand every now and then. Offers daily meal service, support sessions and independent living options to ensure all residents needs will be met.

Services: Provides comprehensive primary and preventive health services to adolescents in Providence, Woonsocket, Central Falls, Pawtucket and West Warwick schools.

PACE - Program for All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly. Provides comprehensive health care services and supports to older adults who live at home or in another community setting and eligible for Medicaid LTSS.

LIHEAP:Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, offers assistance with managing costs associated with home energy bills. Tri-County is able to help with paying fuel and utility bills during the winter months for eligible clients, and we can arrange for the installation of home insulation to reduce home-heating costs (gas, electric, propane, oil, kerosene or wood) through our weatherization program. Eligible clients must meet income guidelines.

The town of Jamestown proudly supports its senior center and provides a broad base of social, health and wellness and learning programs to its residents 55+. The town of Jamestown encourages engagement into its programs and provides affordable access to support aging in our community. Transportation is provided for specific programs. Please check back regularly as we will be updating offerings often. The Jamestown Senior Center is located at 6 West Street. We offer weekday full service luncheons for a suggested donation of $3.00. Hot meals are available for in-house dining with a separate cold sandwich option for Grab & Go to be picked up at the Senior Center between 11:30am and 12:30pm. Hot meals are for those dining in. Dining in is from 11:15am-12:15pm. Menu is available in the "Lunch Menu" folder to the left. Reservations should be made 48 hours in advance.

Based at Providence Public Library, Rhode Island Family Literacy Initiative (RIFLI) is a free, nationally recognized ESL, citizenship preparation, workforce development and family literacy program for adults based at public libraries throughout Rhode Island.
