The HBTS Team is comprised of the parent(s), a clinical supervisor, a home based therapist, a family service coordinator, and when indicated specialty (treatment consultants, speech therapy, physical therapy, and/or occupational therapy). Together, the HBTS Team develops an individualized treatment plan with measurable goals and objectives. CODAC East Bay, serving East Providence, Barrington, Warren, Pawtucket and surrounding areas, treats more than 350 patients weekly. Programs include medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder (OUD), intensified treatment programs (IOP), general outpatient treatment (GO) for alcohol and other substance use, behavioral healthcare services, tobacco cessation programs, and services for gambling addiction.
CODAC East Bay, along with all other CODAC locations, has been awarded the designation of Center of Excellence (COE) for the treatment of opioid use disorder. As a designated COE, they have met or exceeded the highest standards of care (as determined by RI state agencies), are able to provide expedited access to treatment, and offer at least two of the three FDA approved medications for the treatment of opioid use disorder (methadone, buprenorphine (SuboxoneTM, SubutexTM) and oral and depot naltrexone (VivitrolTM). CODAC sites are currently the only providers in RI authorized to dispense all three of these medications. As a COE, CODAC guarantees that treatment will begin within 48 hours of your first phone call.
In addition to individual counseling, CODAC East Bay offers a rich and comprehensive selection of group counseling opportunities, including groups for pre- and post-partum women; early recovery patients; co-occurring patients; DUI referrals; tobacco cessation and problem gambling patients; anger management referrals; and groups for adolescents. Offerings change over time to reflect shifting patient needs and interests.
