Child Outreach is a free service offered to all children 3 to 5 years old. Child Outreach provides information about your child’s development and resources that are available within your community. It can also help identify children who may need further assessment, intervention and/ or services at an early age to promote positive outcomes in kindergarten and beyond.

Assisted Living Facility Independent Living Respite Services: 32 bed

Provides free, voluntary, confidential home visits to pregnant women and families with young children, birth to age three. Trained nurses, social workers, and community health workers meet with families in their homes to talk about their needs, answer questions they may have, and conduct comprehensive assessments. Home visits are based on the needs of the family. Visit topics may include health education and connections with appropriate healthcare services, human services, and community resources. If a child does not have a medical home, we can help the family find one.

Services: An assisted living, 10 bed residence for HIV+ people, a part of AIDS Care Ocean State's Supportive Housing Program. Sunrise offers a comprehensive program that includes medical support, case management and social support in a drug and alcohol free environment.

YPI is committed to building a strong and vocal community of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning (LGBTQQ) youth and their allies to ensure that they are heard and accepted as members and leaders in our community. Youth, ages 13-23, are encouraged to hang out in YPIs Drop-In Center, participate in activities and programming, or use other services such as tutoring or support services. YPI’s drop-in center is a hang out space for LGBTQQ young people and their allies. Play some games, eat a healthy meal, get support and make new friends in a welcoming environment! There’s something different happening every day so come take a dance class, participate in a workshop, do yoga or talk about changing the world. Or just hang out! Blackstone Valley Community health Care (BVCHC) has established a program that reduces fees charged to patients based on their income and family size. The categories we use are based on percentages of “Poverty Level” as annually determined by the federal government. Qualifying patients will pay a nominal fee if they qualify for 100% of poverty. Patients between 101% and 200% will pay a amount depending on their family size and percentage of poverty. Every program has requirements and BVCHC’s Sliding Fee Program is no different.

The East Bay Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) Program helps Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries prevent, detect, and report health care fraud. SMP not only protects seniors, it also helps to preserve the integrity of the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Senior Medicare Patrol staff and volunteers work with beneficiaries to: -Review their Medicare Summary Notices for accuracy -Protect their identity -Identify and report errors on their health care bills -Identify deceptive health care practices, such as illegal marketing, providing unnecessary or inappropriate services, and charging for services that were not provided -SMP also conducts informational sessions for seniors about avoiding Medicare and Medicaid scams.

Implement routine pregnancy intention screening with One Key Question Model in which prevents disparities in maternal and infant health.

The Arrigan Rehabilitation Center offers comprehensive physical and occupational therapy to assist injured workers who experience a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological concerns. Highly qualified therapists evaluate the injured worker, create individualized treatment plans, assess progress, and supervise all treatments. Experienced in the industrial health setting, physical and occupational therapy assistants directly provide patients with many of the daily treatments. The Center offers a spacious gym equipped with all necessary strengthening, conditioning, and flexibility equipment. The Center also possesses one of the largest therapy pools in Southern New England, 20 meters in length with a constant temperature of 92 degrees F. Provides therapeutic aquatics with the aid of temperature, buoyancy, and the gentle but firm resistive force of water. This allows for strengthening and mobility training with greater ease and less discomfort. Many injured workers receive a combination of therapeutic aquatics with either land-based therapeutic exercise/conditioning/mobility training or work hardening. Staff now also includes three Certified Hand Therapists who can treat acute hand injuries/post-op patients, administer therapeutic exercises, fabricate splints, and make recommendations for additional adaptive equipment. All treatment staff are experienced in the treatment of work-related injuries, and participate in annual professional development and continuing education seminars.

Outpatient substance abuse counseling and group therapy. Also provides counseling for domestic violence, gambling, and anger management services for men, women and children over six.
