Patient travel resources for help with free medical air transportation. If a patient travel distance is 1000 miles or less, the services of a volunteer pilot organization flying for public benefit will be the referral. These organizations provide no-cost private or corporate aircraft travel for the patient and accompanying family member(s). Often a patient is flown to treatment location one day and then brought back home the next day to a week or two later.

A statewide organization of families supporting families with children and youth who are at risk or have behavioral or emotional challenges, having consideration for their background and values. They provide support groups, telephone support, educational events, one-to-one assistance with advocacy and/or literature concerning education, mental health, parenting a child with special emotional or behavioral needs. PSN also provides support and education regarding systems navigation, specifically child welfare, juvenile justice, mental health special education. Regal Court is a subsidized, 35 unit, 62+, Handicapped or Disabled residential housing complex.

This is a support group for people dealing with alcoholism. Meetings are held throughout the state to help those in recovery. Recovery follows a 12 step format and sponsors within the program provide support. It's a community of people who share their experience, strength an hope each other to recover from alcoholics.

Heatherwood Rehabilitation & Health Care Center offers short-term rehabilitation, long-term, respite, hospice and dementia care.

Elmwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in Providence’s historic Elmwood section. A small, non-profit arts organization founded in 1974 in Wakefield. Originally conceptualized as a venue for women artists, often under-represented at the time in commercial galleries, Hera has broadened its mission to include the work of regionally and nationally recognized visual artists of both genders who are at all stages of their careers. Hera's mission is to promote a professional artistic presence to benefit South County and the larger community through collaboration, education, and involvement.

McAuley House also offers a host of support services such as rental assistance, toiletries, clothing, prescription assistance, transportation means, obtaining personal documentation, and referrals to housing and other medical or vocational resources. Guests also are invited to participate in a number of enrichment programs, which provide support, healing and engagement.

Clínica Esperanza provides linguistically-appropriate, culturally-attuned medical care to uninsured adults living in Rhode Island. Since 2010, they have served more than 10,000 patients, 80% of whom are Spanish-speaking, through the clinic and health education programs. Free healthcare is provided by a team of multi-lingual volunteers and core staff. They believe healthcare is a human right.
