The Cumberland Senior Center is committed to providing an array of quality services to enrich and educate their senior citizens. They encourage and assist individuals in achieving a lifestyle in which they can remain an active and productive member of the community. Services include day trips and exercise classes. Membership is $8 per year to join the Cumberland Senior Center. Non-residents' cost is $12 for the annual membership. Programs: a variety of educational, informational and recreational programs for seniors are offered through the year. Senior Van - transportation is available, including center pick-ups and drop-offs, for local shopping and appointments. Daily Lunches - $3 lunches are served daily at 11:30. Reservations are needed.

Supports seniors and those with disabilities by providing opportunities for socialization, recreation, nutrition, education, information and referral, volunteering, health & fitness and all aspects of social services. They offer a full calendar of activities, including card games, bocce, walking, arts & crafts, yoga, exercise, Zumba, line dancing, bocce, bingo, and gardening (seasonally). They sponsor multiple field trips per month and educational presentations. The Social Services Office provides a wide range of resources, help and services to members of their community including SNAP/EBT applications, housing applications, heating assistance, Medicare, property tax relief and other case-by-case needs. AARP Yearly Tax Preparation is held February through April, by appointment only.
