The Medical Assistant certificate program prepares students for a career as a medical assistant. Skills sets gained are medical assisting, clinical skills, clerical and administrative procedures including reception and scheduling, medical terminology, electronic charting, clinical testing, basic pharmacology, HIPAA training, and CPR certification.

Offers books, periodicals, pamphlets, audio cassettes, CD's, video cassettes, talking books, large type books for loan; two public computers, copying and fax services. Programming for adults and children.

The Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program provides monthly payments to adults and children with a disability or blindness and who have income and resources below specified amounts. SSI payments can also be made to people 65 and older without disabilities who meet the financial limits. People who have worked long enough may also qualify to receive Social Security disability or retirement benefits as well as SSI.

Services: Psychiatric partial hospital program for pregnant or postpartum women experiencing mood or anxiety disorders. Postpartum women bring their infants to the program. Wheelchair accessible. Meetings: Call for information.

Greenville Center is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center offering post-hospital short-term rehabilitation and long-term care services. Greenville Center accepts admissions 7 days per week, and tours are always welcome. The Center is a Bronze AHCA Quality Award winner and WE HONOR VETERANS partner!

Case/Care Management at Westbay Community Action includes: FCCP: A voluntary program for children who are at risk for abuse or neglect or who have serious emotional disturbance. FCCP connects families with natural supports in their extended families and in the community. FCCP does not provide direct services. Instead the program provides referrals, support, guidance, and advocacy. Elder Case Management: Provides assessment, monitoring and protective services for seniors. Warwick Case Management: Offers long-term support services to at-risk Warwick residents.

Family Connections™ (For Families & Loved Ones of Individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder) Family Connections is a 12-week course that meets weekly to provide education, skills training, and support for people who are in a relationship with someone who has Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). Focusing on issues that are specific to BPD, it is hosted in a community setting and led by trained group leaders who are usually family members of relatives with BPD.
