Resource for individuals seeking information on all aspects of senior services working closely with the Department of Elderly Affairs, Smithfield Police Department, local Tri-Town agency and Northwest Health Care Services. The Center strives to meet the needs and desires of the greatest number of seniors in creating organized activities and workshop areas. Operates a meal site for senior citizens and provides Meals on Wheels.

Pidge Manor is affordable housing for individuals and families that meet established income limits. One, two, and three bedroom apartments available. Residents pay own utilities.

Children’s Personal Assistance Services and Support (PASS): consumer-directed program designed to support children with special health care needs. PASS provides families with the opportunity to take the lead role in directing the services received by their child. The family-centered approach empowers families and individuals to foster independence, support family care giving and decision making, respect family choices and values, and build on individual strengths. Respite Program: a consumer-driven program designed to enhance the quality of life for children with special needs and their families. The provision of Respite enables families to receive support in the delivery of care for their children. Children’s Home-Based Therapeutic Services (HBTS): clinically directed, specialized health services that are designed to meet the individual needs of children diagnosed with moderate to severe physical, developmental, behavioral or emotional conditions. Addresses behavioral concerns and the development of functional, social and communication skills. The HBTS Team is comprised of the parent(s), a clinical supervisor, a home based therapist, a family service coordinator, and when indicated specialty (treatment consultants, speech therapy, physical therapy, and/or occupational therapy). Together, the HBTS Team develops an individualized treatment plan with measurable goals and objectives. Additionally, clinical support and training is provided on a continuous basis to the home based therapist and family.

The East Greenwich Police Department has 32 police officers, an animal control officer, parking control officer, 5 dispatchers, an administrative assistant and a secretary. The officers have received CPR, Automatic Emergency Defibrillator and first aid training. The Department has a complete Bureau Criminal Identification unit, a Traffic Accident Reconstructionist and a Tactical Special Response Team. Many officers are graduates of the University of Rhode Island Criminalist School, with training in scientific investigation, photography and fingerprinting. The Department can assist residents with employment fingerprint services, vin verification checks and car seat installation. Rhode Island Zoological Society (RIZS) is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization that supports and maintains Roger Williams Park Zoo. RIZS works to secure the public and private sector support needed by the Zoo to continue to develop new world-class exhibits, make significant contributions to conservation, and serve the community as a valuable source of environmental education, recreation, and economic development. Founded in 1962 in order to increase public awareness and support for the Roger Williams Park Zoo. It has effectively communicated the zoo's mission statement of recreation, education, conservation and research. Funds raised have created important exhibits making Roger Williams Park Zoo one of the few nationally prominent zoos in the Northeast.

Mid-life services and estrogen replacement therapy. Adoption referral. All services are strictly confidential and offered on a sliding fee scale based on income.

All ages, Male and Female Services may include individual therapy, couples counseling, medication management for those struggling with co-occuring disorders and family counseling. The services are strengths-based, responsive, individualized and client centered to adapt to the needs of each patient

A federally funded program that works to improve the health of elderly people age 60 and older who meet income eligibility requirements by supplementing their diets with nutritious USDA commodity foods. The program provides food and administrative funds to states, typically departments of health, social services, education or agriculture. The state agencies store CSFP food and distribute it to local public and private, nonprofit organizations that determine the eligibility of applicants, distribute the food, and provide nutrition education.

Partnership with Coastway Community Bank, they offer a 3 hour class quarterly (or as needed) on Money Management; e.g. getting credit, checking account, savings account.
