Best Buddies Friendship programs build one-to-one friendships between people with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), offering social mentoring while improving the quality of life and level of inclusion for a population that is often isolated and excluded. Through their participation, people with IDD form meaningful connections with their peers, gain self-confidence and self-esteem, and share interests, experiences and activities that many other individuals enjoy. They offer e-Buddies: a safe place online to develop one-to-one friendships between people with and without IDD. By joining e-Buddies, participants become more comfortable using technology to communicate with friends, gain computer literacy skills, and are better equipped to socialize online in the future.

Short Term Rehabilitative Care Short Term Rehabilitative Care is designed for individuals in need of rehabilitation following hip or knee replacement, heart attack, stroke, or other acute medical event. Our goal is to rehabilitate individuals to restore their previous level of functioning with the goal of returning back to their home. Skilled nursing services; on-site physical, occupational, and speech therapies are available. Short term stays range from one week to several weeks, depending upon the individual’s medical condition. Hospice Suite The Hospice Suite provides care for terminally ill individuals who qualify for general inpatient level of care. They provide clinical and support services for individuals and families with long-term needs associated with mental illness and substance abuse.
